OVERVIEW

The 15-day Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek, offered in the Luxury package, is a highly sought-after adventure starting and ending in Kathmandu, renowned for being one of the most fulfilling trekking experiences in the Himalayas. This trek guides adventurers to the base of Mt. Everest, the tallest peak in the world at 8848.86m, offers breathtaking views of other prominent peaks such as Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, and Mt. Cho Oyu. Along the way, trekkers will also encounter numerous other notable mountains like Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori, and Mt. Amadablam. The journey traverses Sagarmatha National Park, the highest national park globally, known for its diverse flora and fauna. Trekkers will immerse themselves in the spiritual ambiance of the region, characterized by prayer flags, Mani walls, monasteries, and chortens. The standard itinerary includes flights to Lukla followed by treks to Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorak Shep, and ultimately Everest Base Camp.

The Luxury package enhances this experience with a heli-sharing flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and back, providing a quicker and more comfortable journey. The package includes a stay in a 4-star hotel in Kathmandu for 2 nights and 12 nights at tea houses during the trek. All accommodations and meals in Kathmandu, as well as full board meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) during the trek, are covered, including 14 lunches, 15 dinners, and 15 breakfasts. Additional benefits include boiled bottled water, hot drinks, and a comprehensive first aid kit. An experienced trek leader is provided, with assistant guides for larger groups. Porters are included to assist with luggage, and non-essential items can be stored in the hotel. The package also covers guides’ and porters’ wages, their meals, insurance, lodging, transportation, and other necessary equipment. Safety is ensured with water purification tablets, a supplementary oxygen tank, and emergency rescue. Trekking essentials such as a duffel bag, sleeping bag, and down jacket are provided, with the latter two items to be returned after the trek.
