Pasang Kaji Sherpa holds the highest level of accreditation under NNMGA and UIAGM/IFMGA. In his home country of Nepal, PK plays an integral role in mentoring and training upcoming mountaineering guides under the Nepal Mountaineering Society, where his skillset holds trainees to a high level of accountability.
PK has led teams abroad from mountain guiding in New Zealand, to Syria where he collaborated with the United Nations as an expert consultant on mountain safety, skills and strategy for the Nepalese Army. Most recently, PK led a high risk, high altitude team up K2, with minimum support in search of missing climbers.
