This is an 11-day Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek itinerary that starts and ends in Kathmandu, a popular choice among travellers, and is considered one of the best trekking experiences in the Himalayas. The trek leads you to the base of the tallest peak on the planet, Mt. Everest, which stands at 8848.86m above sea level. Along the way, you will get close views of four of the top ten tallest peaks including Mt. Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, and Mt. Cho Oyu. Other peaks like Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Changaste, Mt. The trek passes through Sagarmatha National Park, the highest national park in the world, which is home to diverse flora and fauna. The trek also offers a spiritual journey with fluttering prayer flags, long mane walls, monasteries, chortens, and alleys in different spots. The typical itinerary includes flying to Lukla, hiking to Phakding, then to Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorak Shep, and finally reaching Everest Base Camp. The trek is challenging both physically and mentally, but the breathtaking views and the sense of accomplishment make it worth it.
