This trek offers a close view of Mount Manaslu and includes a one-day hike to the Gompa at Pugyen (4070m), branching off the trail between Syaula and Sama. The second option is a trip to the lake at Birendra Tal (3450m), followed by a challenging ascent to Manaslu Base Camp (4900m). North of Birendra Tal, trekkers can find Milarepa’s Cave, a famous meditation used by the Buddhist saint. Both options provide opportunities for you to stay active and acclimatise.

Day 10Trek from Samagaun to Samdo (3880 m)

Today’s trek descends back to the Budi Gandaki River, passing the junction of Birendra Tal and Manaslu Base Camp.
