OVERVIEW

Welcome to the ultimate challenge of scaling three amazing Himalayan trekking peaks – Pokalde, Lobuche, and Island Peak! It is an exciting and thrilling adventure which involves climbing three famous and challenging peaks in the Khumbu region of Nepal. This trekking and peak climbing adventure allows climbers to explore the beauty of the Nepal Himalayas while scaling these impressive peaks.

Your adventure begins with Lobuche Peak, situated northeast of Mount Everest. To ensure a safe climb, climbers first acclimatize and explore Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar before ascending Lobuche Peak. This peak stands at an elevation of 6,119 meters (20,075 feet) above sea level and provides panoramic views of the Khumbu Valley and its famous 4 8K peaks, including Choyu, Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Amadablam and Thamserku. Since Laurence Neilson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa completed the first reported climb in 1984, Lobuche Peak has become a popular mountaineering destination.

After summiting Lobuche, the expedition moves on to Pokalde Peak, a magnificent mountain standing at 5,806 meters (19,409 feet) situated south of Gorak Shep and provides panoramic views of the Khumbu valley and its famous peaks including Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makalu. In 1953, a group of British mountaineers led by Geoffrey Harrow successfully climbed Pokalde Peak. Their achievement paved the way for future climbers to experience the thrill of this captivating peak.

Island Peak, also known as Imja Tse, is the final mountain to summit. This magnificent peak is located in the Imja Valley, southeast of Mount Everest. Island Peak stands at 6,189 meters (20,305 feet) above sea level and provides panoramic views of prominent peaks such as the towering Lhotse, Makalu, Chamlang, the lovely Ama Dablam and Thamserku. The first recorded ascent of Island Peak was in 1953, when a British expedition team, including climbers like Charles Evans and Tenzing Norgay, along with 7 Sherpas, successfully reached the summit.
